CASPR Mission Statement
The Canadian Association for Shar-Pei Rescue was established to assist dogs that have been, neglected, abandoned, abused or in shelter care.
We will however provide:

| Counseling services for owners inquiring about re-homing their dogs. |

| Assessment of dogs for potential entry into a rescue program. |
|
| Assist with transportation for rescue dogs. |
Our organization consists of experienced Shar-Pei owners, breeders and exhibitors who are located throughout Canada.
We are a non-profit organization. All our members are volunteers and no salary or commissions are ever paid.
We operate solely on donations and sponsorships.
We hope you will find our web site informative and helpful to you whether you are involved in rescue, looking to adopt a rescue dog, or to foster a rescue dog.

Nutrition Research Group: N-R-G
I love this food! NRG is made in Armstrong B.C. (in Canada) From what I have been told it is also available in the United States. NRG's box simple states, Discover Dehydrated. Simple, Nutritious, Delicious! Zephyr gets 50% N-R-G and 50% Go Natural and Now dog foods, and does wonderfully! ( I mix by choice) Please consider trying dehydrated, it's simple and far better then most kibble available today.

Pet bed's
For an un-match level of quality you really must consider the best bed's on the market in my opinion. The bed's are made in Ontario Canada but are available at several online stores.
Dog Boot's
Here are two well made dog boot brands that really stay on are Muttluks and Ruffwear brands!
Zephyr romps through 2 and 3 feet of snow and never lost a boot wearing either brand!!
I have used both brands.
Chinese Shar Pei size chart for Ruffwear dog boots and Muttluk dog boots is size SMALL as a rule. This has been MY experience anyway.
Dog Boots, coats and other cool stuff!
Along with MUTTLUKS, I am now adding my new favorite brand of dog boots and coats! I have tried them and love them! The boots are by RUFFWEAR and are called GRIP TREX. (Shar Pei wear a size small as a rule) The coat is also by RUFFWEAR, and is the k-9 overcoat model. All of RUFFWEARS coats are great! Check them out, you wont be disappointed!
