Such a beatiful sharpei and no one, but no one wanted her.  Left behind tied to a fence in the cold after her drug dealing owners fled the police, Hannah's outlook seemed bleak.  Found tied, two days later, animal control came and got her knowing full well she had no chance of re-homing in their tiny, far-away community of Taber, Alberta .  The animal control officer called Merlin's Hope.

After mounting a transport crusade to get Hannah here to us all the way from Taber, Alberta, the wonderful employees of West Jet made it happen.  Once here Hannah got her needed medical and psychological care as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, often when rescue dogs have some imperfections, even minute ones, most people are not able to look the other way, so Hannah was with us for a very long time. Hannah has a mild nystigmus. It doesn't bother her, but many people frown on visual disfigurements.

Her luck changed when Christin & Thomas of Manitoba found her and fell in love with her instantly. Their huge hearts made plenty of room for the fact that Hannah isn't perfect. Well, we know that to them, Hannah IS perfect!   Can we clone you Christin and Thomas?  So, off she's gone to her new home out West . Hannah has a new big brother to play with too. She fit in to her new family like a glove. We couldn't be happier and neither could she.

What a great ending! And living in sunny, ok, wet Manitoba!! Welcome to Manitoba! I am thrilled to see all the work on this girl payed off! Good on once again Merlin's Hope!
