Though seizures are not as common as FSF or other diseases in Shar-pei's, they are still common.  Oscar has seizures.  There is no reason that has been given to us on what causes his seizures, but still it is a concern. I have been able to calculate when his seizures will happen, normal time frame is every 3 months.  It seems his system needs to reboot.  he will normally become needy a week prior to having the seizure.  He is on CQ10 to help his heart, because seizures may have an effect on the animals heart.

Though Seizures can be managed it is still no cure, nor in many cases, no reason for the seizures.

Interesting, I didn't know too much about seizures. I bet when it first happened you were scared?

Peaches, If you have time and would be willing, feel free to tell us what you have learned about seizures. Truth be known, I don't know much about them. What does one look for or expect? What has your experience been? Thanks girl!
