Hi all! I thought I would join your great web site. We had a Shar Pei in the past (Fuji) who lived with us in Holland Landing for 14 years. We loved him very much and he had a wonderful life....
After much deliberation (2 years worth) we decided to get another Shar Pei... But this time from a proper breeder (not the pet store). We fortunetly found that via Sharon Palmay and Andrea Robins of Gumby's Suprise Kennels. Great people!!
We have now TWO! shar pei's... after seeing them play together we decided (very quickly) that with our busy lives they would keep each other very busy during the day!
Qi (the oldes was born October 31st 2008 from the parents of Sire: Alfred Sung (Ch. Gumby)and Dam: She's in Tune (Gumby)
Pau (the smaller more dominant one) born November 12, 2008 the parents of Sire: Am. & Can. Ch. Gumby's Surprise McSteamy and Dam: Gumby's Coco Chanel.
So far we are running into the typical puppy pee and poop in the house issues but I am so surprised how well mannered and smart Shar Pei's are!

Eden and Cindy, Welcome to the forum! I am so happy you have found us! As I say to all new members, we are new and small, but with time and effert we will grow and become a regualr part of your day to be sure! It sound like you have a house full of love and wrinkles! So you know, JOVI my female is a daughter of McSteamy, and Zephyr my rock star male is the son of Chanel! So that means we/I need pictures! After all we are like family here right?! Please feel free to post your own new topics about ANYTHING as well as comment on others that interest you. I hope you enjoy the website as a whole and have fun here on the forums at bearposh!! We have a littermate of your Pau. She is a real sweetheart. Aurora was the runt of the litter. She is a Red Fawn brushcoat. I would love to know more about Pau and how he is doing,
