The Pandora's box argument. If the dog has lots and lots of toys, he'll become greedy and want a Lexus or a kitchen remodel or the vote! The confusion argument. If the dog has lots and lots of toys, he'll be unable to identify the category "chew toy" and so chew up the Lexus or the kitchen. Zephyr has more toys then DOGS R US, just to be clear. Yet he does NOT chew anything in the house. Still I believe fully the argument above is possible. I would certainly consider this argument should he ever start chewing things NOT in HIS toy box! Over loading a dog with so many toys that he doesn't care about them I would think could lead them to start chewing what he/she should not. Just a thought.
