My name is Michelle and this is my girl, Mocha! She is 6 years old. I bought her from a breeder in Alberta Canada and had her flown to the USA.  Unfortunately, as of 3 months ago this Friday she was diagnosed with Mast Cell Cancer (stage 3.)  She has had surgery and 5 chemotherapy (will have #6 this Monday 12-1.)  In late Sept. her oncologist said she had a month to live.  As of today, she has some new visable tumors about the size of a dime each protruding from her chest, but i think after the next round of chemo we should see them subside (this seems to be the pattern.) The chemo is buying us time for sure.  She's done far better with Lomistine than Zinblastine, so we only give her the Lomistine now. 

Michelle, thank you for sharing your Mocha with us, as well as her story. It takes a strong owner and a strong Pei to keep going at times like this. Not everyone is willing to do things such as Chemo. Bless you for being one of them. I too am one of them! I will be think about you guys and send the best of thoughts your way! You are defnitly a strong person for going through this. I know if it was me, Id be a wreck.
