I am going to post the question of, "How do you feel about the breeding of off standard Shar Pei?" For example; bear coats, flowers, minis, or even far over sized Shar pei.

I am speaking of the deliberate breeding of traits that do not meet the standard. For instance, there are Shar Pei breeders that breed, by design, only for minis and toys. Breeders that breed only for flowers or bear coats etc.

I want honest productive comments on this topic please. Be-rating, slamming and un productive opinions that insult will be removed. Having said that, be honest about what you think on the subject.

I will say, ALL dogs, ALL Shar Pei deserve to be loved by us as owners regardless of the fact some do or do not meet standard.

Personally I belive in breeding to standard. That's simply the choice I have made in a quest to better the breed.
