Welcome to our Shar Pei FORUM information page! Oddly enough, our forum was created entirely by mistake! It was not something that we intended on starting. But now that it's here, it's here to stay!
I have logged many hours trying to make this Forum and Discussion Group a worthwhile place to spend your valuable time.

We are a member driven site. We fully encourage everyone from new puppy owners, prospective owners and BREEDERS to engage in our topics.
We are here to both learn AND teach.
Our forum is primarily Shar Pei driven. However, we think that like all families, we tend to talk about everything once we feel comfortable with each other.
In time our site will surely gain a following of knowledgeable owners, handlers and breeders!

bearposh is not big on rules. We do however feel that we need to follow some as a means to keep order in the kennel.
- foul language will not be tolerated on the open forum.
- private issues are just that, private. If you have a dispute with another member, please keep it off the boards.
- If you have any issues with any other members and can't solve them on your own, please contact myself, or any moderator.
- Please speak from what you know and what you have experienced. People tend to take all forms of advise on forums such as these, regardless of there validity and reliability. Please make sure we are offering up responsible advise. Police yourselves, but realize the moderators will be reviewing all posts for unsound or unsafe postings.
- Breeders are encouraged to join our group, post their kennel information and links, as well as advertise litters. We here at bearposh believe in responsible breeding practices. We also believe in the Chinese Shar Pei code of conduct. We do not, and will not, knowingly promote backyard breeders! All breeders posting on this site must breed Chinese Shar Pei to standard. NO designer breeders will be allowed! All litters MUST be registered with a recognized kennel club, and ALL puppies MUST be sold with registration papers. ( The Continental Kennel Club is NOT a club we recognize ) All our breeders MUST have at a minimum, 7 years of continued Shar Pei breeding in order to post. Reputation within the Shar Pei community should be above reproach. We understand the politics of breeding and showing. Reputation varies greatly. We will not discriminate, but we will do our best to research our breeders. Breeders that post their kennels and/or litters MUST contribute to our sites topics by posting advise on a regular basis. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
- Flaming and calling out of ANY members will not be tolerated on the open forum. Please check your level of heat before you push send on your messages. Lets work with each other on issues, not against each other. We will not always agree.
- At anytime, a topic can be closed.
- At anytime, a posting NOT conforming to our T&C will be deleted. Please report questionable postings and/or topics.
- Please post and post often! Our site is very new and we need the action! Don't forget to spread the word that bearposh is here!
- Bearposhsharpei, has created this forum for the Chinese Shar Pei community at large. We do not promote one breeder over another. We strongly ask you to research ALL breeders both on and off this forum! There are many quality Shar Pei breeders, please choose wisely.
